Is he/she a bit snappy or OK to handle?

I have a diamond/jungle cross which is OK during the day or if you take he out half asleep and she comes to you, but gives you the evil eye if even look inside her domain in the evening
In her defence though I think the evening behaviour is a feed -related reaction as they are nocturnal and a predatory feeder and she is always fed at night. Still call her Snappy or The Rottweiler tho (no offence to any Rottie owners - I love em too )
